Christmas Eve candlelight service - 6:30pm at Rice Memorial. We'll read the Christmas story and sing the good old carols that have been sung through the generations.

Our August congregational memory verse: Daniel 6:26 - "...for he is the living God, enduring forever; his kingdom shall never be destroyed, and his dominion shall be to the end."

The people of Rice Memorial suprised Pastor Steve with a luncheon in celebration of his 10th anniversary as pastor of Rice. He didn't have a clue!

Here is the memory scripture for February, March and maybe April. It's a long one and our old memories aren't what they used to be! "His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence, by which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desire." (2 Peter 1:3-4)

January 2016 congregational memory verse - 1 Kings 8:23 "O Lord, God of Israel, there is no God like you, in heaven above or on earth beneath, keeping covenant and showing steadfast love to your servants who walk before you with all their heart,..." (Every month the congregation at Rice is challenged to memorize a verse together.)

December's congregational memory verse. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God. (Revelation 21:3 ESV)

Which side are you on?

Each month the members of Rice Memorial are challenged to memorize a verse of Scripture together. This month is Isaiah 44:22 which says, "I have blotted out your transgressions like a cloud and your sins like mist; return to me, for I have redeemed you."

For all friends in the area, Rice Memorial is having a Good Friday service tonight at 7:00 PM. Then, on Sunday morning at 6:15 AM, bright and early, we'll celebrate the resurrection at a brief Sunrise Service, which will be followed by a great breakfast. Hope many of you will consider coming.
